HarryDo.
I build software that ships to production — full-stack features, scalable backend systems, and AI-integrated workflows that solve real problems.
Who I Am
I'm a Software Engineering graduate based in Melbourne, and I care about one thing above all: writing code that actually gets used — production-grade, maintainable, and built with the user in mind.
Over the past year I completed two internships in very different environments. At SEEDSoft, a lean AI startup in Sydney, I owned end-to-end features in a fast-moving codebase — learning to make good decisions fast. At Groove Technology, I navigated an enterprise-grade Nx monorepo with microservices, Apollo Federation, and multi-tenant architecture — learning what "production-grade" truly means.
I integrate AI tooling — Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot — as a genuine part of my engineering workflow, not as a shortcut but as a force-multiplier. I've shipped LLM-powered features into real products, not just side projects.
Looking for a graduate or junior engineering role where I can contribute from day one, keep learning fast, and build things that matter.

Where I've Worked

Software Engineer Intern
AI-driven SaaS platform startup — small team, fast iteration, real ownership.
- ▸Diagnosed a task queue bottleneck and re-architected the pipeline using BullMQ and Redis — reducing processing latency by ↓ ~20% and enabling ↑ 3× throughput under peak load
- ▸Integrated LLM-powered features and AI agents directly into the product, applying system design thinking to automate repetitive platform workflows — shipped to production, used by real users
- ▸Developed full-stack features end-to-end using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with product and design through structured SDLC practices
- ▸Designed and maintained RESTful APIs and backend services, writing tests and enforcing clean code standards across the codebase

Software Developer Intern
Enterprise tech company building a production-grade HRMS for international clients — microservices, multi-tenant architecture, large-scale codebase.
- ▸Contributed to an enterprise HRMS serving 200+ users across a multi-tenant architecture — developed GraphQL queries via Apollo Federation gateway and reusable UI components for Employee Profiles, Leave Management, and RBAC workflows
- ▸Built and optimised backend services using TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL — supporting complex enterprise data models with high performance, scalability, and integrity requirements
- ▸Navigated a large-scale Nx monorepo with multiple microservices and shared libraries — ramped up and delivered production-ready GraphQL features independently within the first week
- ▸Recognised by senior leadership for proactive problem-solving and effective contributions — referenced directly in a recommendation letter by the CEO
Things I've Built
AllyFix — AI Accessibility Auditor
An open-source tool that scans any public web page for WCAG 2.2 issues and uses an LLM to explain each one in plain language and generate a copy-able code fix — going beyond scanners that only report what is broken.
- —Built a web accessibility auditing platform that scans any website for WCAG violations and uses LLMs to generate plain-language explanations and ready-to-apply code fixes
- —Engineered the AI integration for graceful degradation — scan results are stored before any model call, so a provider outage never fails a scan — with timeouts, rate limiting, automatic retries, and a circuit breaker across three interchangeable LLM providers
- —Built an automated evaluation system that objectively measures AI output quality by re-testing each generated fix with the accessibility scanner, removing the need for manual or LLM-based review — identified and closed a flaw that let invalid fixes pass
- —Raised automated test coverage from 34 to 402 tests (97%), enforced in CI/CD so any regression fails the build — and documented 8 architecture decisions with explicit trade-offs
July 2026
LeaseMate
June 2026An Australia-wide lease transfer marketplace that replaces scattered social media posts with structured listings, renter enquiries, owner workflows, and admin moderation.
- —Built a full-stack marketplace with public search, listing detail pages, saved listings, enquiries, and owner listing management
- —Implemented email/password authentication with server-side sessions plus Prisma-backed PostgreSQL models for users, listings, enquiries, reports, and saved listings
- —Added listing creation and editing workflows with photo uploads, readiness indicators, moderation tools, CI checks, unit tests, and Playwright coverage
Expense Tracker Finance App
December 2025A full-stack web application enabling users to track expenses with secure authentication, persistent data storage, and a clean, intuitive UI.
- —Designed and built a full-stack web app with RESTful APIs and JWT-based authentication
- —Implemented relational database schema design following clean code principles
- —Deployed to production using GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and Vercel for automated builds
Accessibility-Friendly Mobile App
March 2025 – PresentA cross-platform mobile application helping users find and contribute information about wheelchair-accessible locations and pathways.
- —Built cross-platform UI/UX using React Native targeting both iOS and Android from a single codebase
- —Integrated Firebase services — Firestore for data storage, Authentication for user management, and Cloud Messaging for real-time updates on accessible locations
- —Achieved full-stack mobile development capabilities by combining React Native frontend with a robust Firebase backend
Gesture-Based Image Manipulation
August 2024 – October 2024A gesture-controlled image manipulation desktop application using computer vision and hand landmark detection — no hardware controller required.
- —Designed gesture recognition pipeline with MediaPipe for real-time hand landmark detection and OpenCV for image processing operations
- —Optimised low-latency response and accuracy by implementing neutral gesture-based termination for smoother transitions
- —Managed project tasks in Jira and documented progress in Confluence, applying agile methodologies throughout development
Groove Technology Website Clone
June 2024 – July 2024A pixel-accurate frontend replication of Groove Technology's website, showcasing component architecture, state management, and responsive design.
- —Replicated Groove Technology's website UI in React.js with accurate component architecture and responsive layouts
- —Translated complex web design into clean JSX/CSS, implementing interactive UI elements and responsive behaviour
What People Say
“Harry is one of the most driven, diligent, and capable young people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He consistently delivered work well beyond his years of experience and exceeded all expectations. Just as importantly, he's curious, thoughtful, respectful, and easy to collaborate with. Any team would be lucky to have him.”
“Harry is one of the most promising junior engineers I've worked with. He tackled GraphQL API development and React UI implementation with an impressive level of maturity. His technical foundation is solid, but his attitude and eagerness to learn are what truly set him apart. He will be a great addition to any engineering culture.”
“Harry is a talented and hardworking full-stack Intern by the time he was at Groove. He contributed to our development team with high-quality code and a positive, 'can-do' attitude. Beyond the technical skills, Harry is a great communicator who integrates feedback quickly and contributes meaningfully to team discussions, possess the curiosity required to excel in a fast-paced environment. I'm confident he will be a strong asset to any engineering team he joins.”
“Harry stands out for his strong sense of ownership and his ability to quickly adapt in a real project environment. He doesn't just focus on getting tasks done but also takes time to understand the bigger picture, asks thoughtful questions, and continuously improves the quality of his work. Technically, he demonstrates solid full-stack capabilities and is especially impressive in how he applies modern tools in a practical and effective way. More importantly, he shows a mindset that every team looks for: reliable, proactive, and always willing to learn. I'm confident that Harry will be a valuable addition to any engineering team, especially in environments that value both technical depth and growth mindset.”
“Even as an intern, he showed solid technical grounding — particularly in React, TypeScript, and Node.js — and approached his work with a level of maturity and curiosity that you don't always see early in a career. He's a quick learner, easy to collaborate with, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way. I'm confident he'll be a great addition to any team he joins.”
